Norwich Cathedral

I ought to post a new blog category- drawings of churches. It's too cold at the moment to draw outside and churches are beautiful buildings with free admission.

This is Norwich Cathedral, looking towards the bishop's seat. It was a beautiful place but the combination of arches (something I find difficult to draw freehand) straight lines (ditto) and perspective (neither successful or accurate in the bottom picture) made it a challenging place to draw in. I drew the angel for a rest after I'd finished getting annoyed at the arches.
