Three of my drawings are being shown in a Christmas art exhibition. Here they are, all smart and wrapped up. They look pretty cool. Hopefully they will sell, because I am short of food money at the moment*

and some more pictures taken round Norwich.

*Knew I shouldn't have bought that special hardback cover version of 100% by Paul Pope.

In Africa for the next two weeks, wooo:)

but first, have some pics of the UEA campus. I have decided I like it so much because it reminds me of zombie shootin' computer games.

The Texture Blog

This is a collection of texture photos for general use, though if you want high resolution photos you can buy a CD from me for £10 *

I've recently started using photographic textures in my artwork (see the recent pages of Trust in the Snow I've been drawing for Parable) in an attempt to make my computer colouring more three-dimensional. I had to find similar photos while I worked on Charlie and Lola, and used a great website called Mayang's Texture Website.

This was the only free texture website I could find (you could also buy all the high resolution textures on CD, this is where I stole the idea from ) it was wonderful, and it's no longer online. So I had to start taking photos myself. I decided that since I was building up a small library and was unemployed at the time (though not at present) I might look for opportunities to sell them on the Web.

I will keep adding to this site: a trip to South Africa in September should be specially interesting!

Where is a crowbar when you need one?

Does this condemned warehouse (it was hosting an art exhibition) look a lot like a Half-Life set or is it just me?

PS: Did I mention I really really really like Half Life 2?

I don't usually post photos, but snow on Wells beach is pretty unusual. It was these, or a reworking of a comic page indistinguishable from the previous version by anyone except me.

There was a seal swimming about while I took the third picture. It came pretty close, but not close enough for my digital camera to take a clear photo.
